1o Footballers that I like.
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need something to do now.
While waiting for Argentina's match for Mexico, I decided to post this. This is just a random post because I have got nothing better to do.
10. LANDON DONOVAN. (USA)
A true all-American hero, despite that America failed to advance to the quarter finals, Donavan had surely did his own part very well as USA's striker.
9. MICHAEL BALLACK. (GER)
We would love to see him again. He's one of the reasons why Germany made it to the finals in Euro cup 2008 and thrid place in World cup 2006. I just love his style, I mean the way he plays football. Too bad he's injured. Bummer. D:
8. OLIVER KAHN. (GER)
I've been watching him since I was really young, six years old to be exact, during the 2002 world cup. He is undeniably one of the best goal keepers of all time. He hardly misses the ball from a penalty kick, trust me.
7. STEVEN GERRARD. (ENG)
He plays a crucial role in England's football team. Okayy, if there were Michael Owen and David Beckham, England would have performed better. Why are the great players always injured during an important event? :/ But Steven Gerrard sures serve his part well as the English team's captain. He scores. He scores for England.
6. RONALDO. (BRAZIL)
Reminds me so much of those days when I was still a little girl wearing frilly dresses and carries my teddy bear where ever I go. Too bad his last world cup was in 2002.
5. FRANK LAMPARD. (ENG)
Best known for long distance goals and free kicks. :) Without him, England would have not made it this far in the 2010 World Cup.
4. FRANCESCO TOTTI. (ITA)
Thanks to him, Italy emerged as the champion for world cup 2006. I mean, he has got real talent in football. Too bad he's retired now, I would be really happy if he's still playing for Italy this year. But people just get older, don't they? D:
3. FERNANDO TORRES. (ESP)
He used to be really good. He is good, but not as good as he was back in 2008. Nevertheless, he still did his part well as Spain's striker and earned his country the European Championship in 2008.
2. CHRISTIANO RONALDO. (POR)
Okay, to be honest, I used to hate him. I remember during the 2006 world cup quarter finals, England was playing against Portugal. I am a fan of the English. Christiano Ronaldo fought with Wayne Rooney and caused Rooney to receive a red card, so that's why England lost to Portugal. That made me mad. Really mad. But now, I kinda got over it because he is hot. He's so hot, and he's got a body to die for x) Plus, he's really good at juggling the ball. Did I mention he models for major brands such as Nike, Calvin Klien and Emporio Armani?
1. DAVID BECKHAM. (ENG)
My favourite of all time? None other than Beckham! :D
He saved the day and brought England to the quarter finals back in world cup 2006.
And he's cute too . :)
If you ask me who is the footballer that I'm most crazy about and head to toes obsessed with? Well, it has got to be Philipp Lahm, Yes, he is a skillful player, but I don't see any special talent in him. I just like him. Because he's hot? :D
