1o Footballers that I like.

It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need something to do now.
While waiting for Argentina's match for Mexico, I decided to post this. This is just a random post because I have got nothing better to do.

LANDON DONOVAN Pictures, Images and Photos
10. LANDON DONOVAN. (USA)
A true all-American hero, despite that America failed to advance to the quarter finals, Donavan had surely did his own part very well as USA's striker.

Michael Ballack Pictures, Images and Photos
9. MICHAEL BALLACK. (GER)
We would love to see him again. He's one of the reasons why Germany made it to the finals in Euro cup 2008 and thrid place in World cup 2006. I just love his style, I mean the way he plays football. Too bad he's injured. Bummer. D:

oliver kahn Pictures, Images and Photos
8. OLIVER KAHN. (GER)
I've been watching him since I was really young, six years old to be exact, during the 2002 world cup. He is undeniably one of the best goal keepers of all time. He hardly misses the ball from a penalty kick, trust me.

Steven Gerrard Pictures, Images and Photos
7. STEVEN GERRARD. (ENG)
He plays a crucial role in England's football team. Okayy, if there were Michael Owen and David Beckham, England would have performed better. Why are the great players always injured during an important event? :/ But Steven Gerrard sures serve his part well as the English team's captain. He scores. He scores for England.

RoNaldo Pictures, Images and Photos
6. RONALDO. (BRAZIL)
Reminds me so much of those days when I was still a little girl wearing frilly dresses and carries my teddy bear where ever I go. Too bad his last world cup was in 2002.

Lampard Pictures, Images and Photos
5. FRANK LAMPARD. (ENG)
Best known for long distance goals and free kicks. :) Without him, England would have not made it this far in the 2010 World Cup.

Francesco Totti Pictures, Images and Photos
4. FRANCESCO TOTTI. (ITA)
Thanks to him, Italy emerged as the champion for world cup 2006. I mean, he has got real talent in football. Too bad he's retired now, I would be really happy if he's still playing for Italy this year. But people just get older, don't they? D:

Fernando Torres Pictures, Images and Photos
3. FERNANDO TORRES. (ESP)
He used to be really good. He is good, but not as good as he was back in 2008. Nevertheless, he still did his part well as Spain's striker and earned his country the European Championship in 2008.

christiano ronaldo Pictures, Images and Photos
2. CHRISTIANO RONALDO. (POR)
Okay, to be honest, I used to hate him. I remember during the 2006 world cup quarter finals, England was playing against Portugal. I am a fan of the English. Christiano Ronaldo fought with Wayne Rooney and caused Rooney to receive a red card, so that's why England lost to Portugal. That made me mad. Really mad. But now, I kinda got over it because he is hot. He's so hot, and he's got a body to die for x) Plus, he's really good at juggling the ball. Did I mention he models for major brands such as Nike, Calvin Klien and Emporio Armani?

amazinggg david beckham Pictures, Images and Photos
1. DAVID BECKHAM. (ENG)
My favourite of all time? None other than Beckham! :D
He saved the day and brought England to the quarter finals back in world cup 2006.
And he's cute too . :)

If you ask me who is the footballer that I'm most crazy about and head to toes obsessed with? Well, it has got to be Philipp Lahm, Yes, he is a skillful player, but I don't see any special talent in him. I just like him. Because he's hot? :D

Lucas Podolski is a talented player, despite he missed a penalty.
Where is Robert Green? His jersey says "green" on it, and it is also green in colour. LOL. Too bad he let the ball slipped away during his match with USA.

I am so grateful that this month wouldn't have to be monotonous.
FIFA World Cup had brighten this boring month.
Watching the whole football match is one of the best things to do ever, rather than just watching the highlights and checking the score.
Even if I had to wake up at 2.30 in the morning to catch that football match, I wouldn't mind. Watching the players pass the ball is really exciting. I love watching football. It's like, I sit in front of the TV, pay attention to the players' every single move, and not realising that 30 mins had already passed. It's okay to be a potato couch once in a while during big events like this, FIFA World Cup only happens once in a blue moon. I don't wanna miss anything about it.

The only thing I don't like about World Cup is... witnessing my favourite teams lose. I find it hard to accept my favourite teams going down. Especially Italy's match. That was such a huge fiasco. Francessco Totti and Alexander Depiero would be so frustrated watching the match. The current defending champions actually finished last in their group. This is just a shame. It's degrading the team. And honestly, I think the referee sucks. He actually disqualified two of Italy's goals. The first one already passed the goal line, just that the Slovakian player cleared the ball out from the goal before the referee noticed it. Ughhh. Why can't the referee check back the replay on the screen? As for the 2nd one, I actually don't see that it's off side.
The worst was at the end of the match when the Italian footballers literally rolled down tears on their cheeks. I get how they feel. When disappointment runs rampant, it's hard to hold back those tears and resist from expressing how you feel. Speaking of this, the substitute goal keeper from Italy was lousy. Way lousy. I pity Buffon having to watch his replacement perform poorly. The Italians not just failed to deliver for their country, but they have also upset fans across the world.

Anyway, I'm also pretty sad that USA has to catch the next flight home. But no matter what, Landon Donavan is always a true American hero. :)
It's hard to choose from England and Germany. Both are equally great teams. I don't know why I support England since I was young. I've always loved the English team. Too bad David Beckham and Michael Owen ain't in the team. Speaking of this, why are so many great footballers injured? I feel wasted for Michael Ballack. If his physical condition was perfect, he would have be in the team for this tournament and win for Germany.
But Germany's still got Klose and Podolski; while England has Gerrad and Lampard.
I bet this is gonna be one of the most highly anticipated match ever.
England or Germany?
I can't tell.
I'm gonna catch the match tonight that will settle down all debates among fans.

We all will look at our photos and think, OH MY GOSH, I LOOK SO HORRIBLE I COULD DIE!
It's normal. Almost everyone thinks like that.
But hey, after five years, you might look back the same photograph which you used to think you looked ugly in, and have different thoughts.
Maybe you don't look that bad as you thought you were.
All super models look fabulous in their photo shoots, because their photo shots are taken by professional photographers and it takes almost a thousand shots for them to finally achieve that look.
As for us, our photos are not used for commercial purposes or to sell a product, but to capture that happy moment in our life.
OK, there is no doubt that everyone wants to look gorgeous in their pictures, but the most important thing about a picture is, it captures a moment of your life and reminds you something special of that particular time when the picture was taken.
Looking at these pictures, I'm sure they will bring back memories. :)

Anyway, FIFA World Cup is getting more intense now!
Why?

#1. France, the 1st runner up of the previous World Cup tournament failed to make it to the 2nd round.

#2. Spain lost to Switzeland.

#3. Portugal has set a new record for North Korea's worst defeat in history with a 7-0 win, breaking the previous record of 6-1.

#4. England tied with USA.

#5. Germany lost to Serbia.

#6. Speaking of Portugal's match with North Korea, that match was the first live TV Program broad-casted in North Korea, yes, their first live TV ever. And sadly, they had to witness their country being defeated badly.

#7. Italy tied with New Zeland.

More surprises are awaiting ahead. The best is yet to come, and I wanna witness the incredible experience of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. :)
Anyway, England's match with Slovenia is today, and this will be the match that decides if they're advancing to the 2nd round or not, so hopefully they'll win! Go England :D

Kendall Jenner shooting for F21's Twist. She's 5'9. I wish I could be as tall as her.

Know what I've been up to lately? Watching FIFA World Cup is one of the best things to do during this holiday.
I mean, it's really fun to get into a football match, watch the player's every single move, get nervous and shout when things are getting intense.
I don't mind having to stay up til late midnight. Watching it live is an incredible experience, and moreover it only happens once in four years.
I still don't have a particular favourite country, but I support teams like England, Spain, Argentina, Portugal, France, Italy and so on.
Whoever that thinks that South Korea will win this world cup, I'm sorry to say that the team had just got beaten badly by Argentina who recently notched up a 4-1.

Anyway, I still cannot get over Europe. The local cuisine is delicious, the Caucasian people are gorgeous, the streets and architecture are brilliant, the weather is cooling, and most of all, the shopping experience is awesome. I can't wait for my next flight to Europe again ;)

Walking
In
The
Streets
Of
MILAN

After touring for almost a week in Russia, I went to Milan from St.Peters burg. During my flight, I had to seat with strangers because there are no seats available for me to sit with my family. And there was this Russian guy next to me who spoke in Russian to me the entire time. *Sighs. Do I look like I speak Russian? Or Russians couldn't converse in English at all? Well, I'm pretty sure they can survive their whole life without having to learn English.

Milan's more than just a heaven for shoppers, it has also got a gourmet galore.
Pastas, pizzas, coffees, gelatos and so much more are so common over there, local Italian coffee shops or coffee stands, restaurants and bistros are all over the place.
I love the typical Italian Margarita Pizza. It's the simplest pizza ever, the topping is only made of cheese and tomato.
But it's good. It's really delicious, I just had to ask for more.
I wouldn't get bored eating the same food for every single meal in a day.
Traditional, original and local Italian food.
Mmmmmmmm :)

And as for shopping......
OHMYGOD.
I can walk around Duomo from early morning til late evening and never get tired of it, despite I've got a blister on my foot.
From Benetton, Zara, Promod, H&M to Fendi and Dolce & Gabanna, you are bound to shop til you drop.
Walking alone, I mean shopping alone is not a problem for me, as long as I've got my parents' consent. Well, but there's one thing that scares me a little.
You know what else is Italy famous for?
Mafias. Lol.
Imagine a tall, big, bald guy with countless piercings on the ear, wearing designer tuxedos and actually has got guns hidden in their pockets? Or possibly M16's. Oh and, they drive luxurious cars, Ferrari's I guess.
Did you watch Casino Royale? I'm pretty convinced you did. Remember the front part where James Bond were being chased by people in black suits with guns?
Those people are mafias.
They can look well-groomed from the surface, but nobody knows that they're actually cold-blooded, ruthless murderers.
They're like people we commonly name as "gangsters" here, except that they're more, errrr, rich and well groomed?
Yeah. It horrifies me to see people like these on the streets, though I know they're not gonna kill me anyway. Lol.

Anyway, here are a few pictures to recall my past memories from Italy.
I've landed my footprint for the third time in Italy.
Cheers :D

On a gondola ride in Venice, Italy.

2007
Also in Venice, and I guess that those people with masques explained that it was the Venice Carnival.

Dear John,

Dear John Pictures, Images and Photos

This is such an amazing movie.
Misha, I couldn't agree with you more that Nicholas Sparks is a genius.
I mean, how in the world could he come up with so many ideas and write about so many love stories that can deeply touch someone's heart?
The notebook, A Walk to Remember, Dear John and so much more.
Now I'm anticipating to watch The Last Song, also another movie based on a novel of the same title by Nicholas Sparks.
After watching Dear John, I think that I almost cried up a river and used up the whole box of tissues. I watched during my flight to Moscow, and it was inside the aircraft, so people who saw me would have thought that I was going bonkers. But it was too hard to hold back those tears.
I have always thought of what would it be like to date an American army. I mean, would it be miserable or happy? OK, to be honest, American troops are actually hot, aren't they? They're tall, muscular, tough and have that All-American attitude. Unfortunately, being an army, especially serving for the States, is an incredibly challenging job.
It's hard to survive through wars that involve Nuclear bombs and machine guns.
And the US is one of the countries that always get involve in wars, so yeah. It's like putting your life at risk.

Anyway, Channing Tatum has got the looks. No wonder he's played in roles as an army for the American Troops, such as in the movie G.I.Joe.

I
Left
My
Heart
In
RUSSIA

Once again, I'm back from Europe. As usual, going to Europe is all about visiting castles, palaces, churches, statues, cathedrals, fortresses and so on. Not to mention about the cooling weather there. It's breezy all day long, although it might get a little cold at night, the weather at Russia was just perfect for me.
And what was the best part?
WHITE NIGHT! :D
The day can never be anymore longer. The sun only begins to set at 12 or 1 at midnight, and rises again at 4 in the morning, which practically means that we can see sunlight all day long.
It's weird to step out from a building at 10pm but still see the bright, shinning sun as if it's 10am.
The last time I got to experience the magnificent white night was back in 2007 when I went to Norway.
I love white night :)
Food was fine here, I can get used to most delicacies and meals, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to adopt myself to the local taste, although the local food here might taste a little weird for some people.

MOSCOW.

ST. PETERS BURG.

Most Russians cannot speak English, so people here would sometimes come up to me and speak in Russian. And I had no idea what they were trying to say. Even McDonald's and Starbucks are written in Russian here. LOL.

I also got the golden opportunity to witness the spectacular Ballet performance.

The prestigious Swan Lake which was originated from Russia.

Hutan Tirus? :D

Local Russian Folk show.

P/S: I will be back to update about Milan. :)

Profile
We've run out of words, we've run out of time.
Welcome to thisisme-enzhen.blogspot.com!

That's just
So ME

Let's see, where should I start this story from? It all began when a girl was brought to the world at a particular time on Match 21st. Just like any of you, my life is made up of happy and sad moments. There's really nothing so special about my life, but that doesn't necessarily make me ordinary. I don't think that there are any words that can be used to describe me. Maybe extraordinary is the closest one? Hah. Believe me, I'll marry Philipp Lahm one day. You'll see. Don't you think that love stories involving a character from the military are so interesting? They're so touching, I always end up having my face flooded with tears after reading it. Shopping is such an incredible feeling. But being victorious is the best feeling ever. I love NewYorkCity, the street lights there are so fascinating! I like extravagant things, the more, the bigger, the BETTER. I do things randomly, and yes, I admit that I can be too outspoken sometimes that the words coming out from my mouth seem to hurt people around me. I just couldn't help it. I'm born to be like that :P
